Letting honest AI agents in
R3.2Does the site answer an agent that says honestly what it is?
- Why it matters
- AI agents that are turned away shop elsewhere. Blocking honest ones only rewards agents that pretend to be browsers.
- What Lens looks for
- We visited your home page and agent documents as an AI agent that says so, and checked we weren't blocked.

What to do
Admit AI agents that say what they are, with a rate limit, instead of treating every client that is not a browser as hostile.

The definition
- Definition
- An agent surface is any document or endpoint the wellknown step found present (a UCP profile, a legal context, an ACP document, an agent card, an MCP server card) and the UCP service endpoint the profile names. A candidate that answers as the control path /.well-known/integra-lens-absent does, with the same status and the same body hash, is the site's answer for a missing path, and is absent. A surface that asks for authorization is gated: set aside, neither admitting nor refusing, and listed in the coverage manifest. Admitted is the response class of rubric §1.
- Passes when
- Identity A, or identity S, is admitted at the home page and at every agent surface the site publishes, gated surfaces set aside. The report names which identity was admitted.
